There are situations where the NXPowerLite Outlook add-in can fail to show up in Outlook or stop working. Unfortunately, there are too many reasons to list as to why this happens but the most common are:
- A failed update to NXPowerLite
- Local, machine-specific Outlook issues
In summary, these instructions are to uninstall NXPowerLite, remove the reference to the NXPowerLite Add-In from within Outlook, and then reinstall NXPowerLite.
Outlook 2010 or later
- Uninstall NXPowerLite Desktop
- Quit Outlook if it is running
- From Windows search type Outlook
- Right-click Outlook in the results and select Run as administrator
- Go to the File tab and select Options > Add-ins.
- In the bottom of the Window select Manage: COM Add-ins and click Go
- In the next window, select NXPowerLite AddIn the press the 'Remove... button and follow the steps to remove the Add-In
Outlook 2007
- Uninstall NXPowerLite Desktop
- Quit Outlook if it is running
- From windows search type Outlook
- Right-click Outlook in the results and select Run as administrator
- Select Tools > Trust Center. Click Add-ins. In the bottom of the Window select Manage: COM Add-ins and click Go
- In the next window, select NXPowerLite AddIn the press the 'Remove... button and follow the steps to remove the Add-In
Outlook 2003
- Uninstall NXPowerLite Desktop
- Quit Outlook if it is running
- From windows search type Outlook
- Right-click Outlook in the results and select Run as administrator
- Select Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options... > COM Add-Ins...
- In the next window, select NXPowerLite AddIn the press the 'Remove... button and follow the steps to remove the Add-In
