When trying to uninstall or repair NXPowerLite Desktop, you might see an error message "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" (see screenshot below).
To solve this, please follow these steps:
- Click Cancel to dismiss the error message. Another message box might appear - click OK to dismiss this.
- Find out which exact version of NXPowerLite you have (e.g. version 7.0.1). This information can be found by starting NXPowerLite and clicking the About menu button.
- Download the correct setup package for that version of NXPowerLite. Please see this support article for a list, and contact us if your specific version is not listed and we will be happy to supply a link.
- Run the setup package, click "Next" and then select the operation you wish to perform. If you were trying to upgrade NXPowerLite when the error occurred, select "Remove" to uninstall NXPowerLite before installing the newer version.
