If you want to use NXPowerLite to quickly resize JPEG images from Explorer, here’s how you do it. The first time you want to do this you will need to set up a custom profile for the resizing - 1920x1080 works well for images to be viewed on high-resolution screens.
Here are the steps to create an image resizing profile:
- Open NXPowerlite and click on the “New optimize profile…” in the Optimize profile dropdown.
- Name it appropriately, for example “Resize JPEG 1920”, select the "JPEG" tab and check the "Resize images for display at:" box and choose "1920x1080" from the dropdown and then click “OK”.
- Close NXPowerLite.
To resize the images you can now follow these steps:
- Right click on the images and select “Create optimized copy”. You could alternatively choose "Back up and replace original" or "Replace original" from the explorer menu if you prefer.
- Choose your resizing profile from the list and click “OK”.
Your resized JPEGs will now be created. You can create additional resizing profiles if you'd like to be able to resize to different sizes depending on the circumstances.
