NXPowerLite does not currently include dots per inch (DPI) settings. For simplicity in NXPowerLite Desktop we grouped DPI settings and target height and width into the same setting.
To calculate the DPI from a given target height/width setting, we take the largest dimension and divide it by 8. For example, if the setting is 1600 x 900 (HD+) then the DPI would be 200.
Here are the most common target height/width settings with their corresponding DPI value, please use them to match a target screen resolution to your preferred DPI.
Resize images for display at | DPI |
3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) | 480dpi |
2560 x 1440 (WQHD) | 320dpi |
1920 x 1080 (1080p) | 240dpi |
1600 x 900 (HD+) | 200dpi |
1280 x 720 (720p) | 160dpi |
1024 x 768 | 128dpi |
800 x 600 | 100dpi |
720 x 480 (480p) | 90dpi |
PowerPoint uses a screen target height & width not DPI value. Whereas Word, Excel and PDF use DPI settings internally.
