When you first install NXPowerLite Desktop on macOS you may notice that when you right-click a supported file, the NXPowerLite options do not appear in the Finder context menu. This could be due to a faulty installation, an issue with Finder, or installation on any macOS prior to Big Sur.
Here are 3 different steps to successfully enable NXPowerLite's Finder options:
To check whether NXPowerLite's Finder extensions are enabled, follow these steps:
- Ensure NXPowerLite has been properly installed
- Open System Preferences the Privacy & Security
- At the bottom click on Extensions

- Click on Added Extensions
- Enable the Finder Extensions checkbox under NXPowerLite Desktop

To check whether NXPowerLite's Finder extensions are enabled, follow these steps:
- Ensure NXPowerLite has been properly installed
- Open System Preferences and click on Extensions
- On the left-hand side ensure you are on the tab Added Extensions
- On the right under NXPowerLite Desktop enable the Finder Extensions checkbox

To check whether NXPowerLite's Finder extensions are enabled, follow these steps:
- Ensure NXPowerLite has been properly installed
- Open System Preferences and click on Extensions
- On the left-hand side ensure you are on either tab All or Finder Extensions
- On the right under NXPowerLite Desktop enable the Finder Extensions checkbox

Sometimes it may be necessary to relaunch Finder to ensure the NXPowerLite Finder options start to appear. Follow these steps to relaunch Finder:
- Hold the Alt / Option key and right-click the Finder icon in the taskbar
- Select the Relaunch option at the bottom of the context menu
If the first two methods don't have any effect then it is likely that you have a corrupt installation. Please re-install NXPowerLite Desktop(mac) by following the instructions in this support article.
