You may want to add drives and/or server locations that are not accessible browsing for servers/SAN drives/shares using the 'Add folder...' option in the NXPowerLite (and Quick Scan).
Follow these instructions to enable you to add UNC paths to the list of folders that NXPowerLite will scan:
1: Ensure the user that Windows Service is running with a user account that has full access (read/write/update/delete permissions) to all the data on all of the servers/drives you wish to compress. See Configuring the NXPowerLite Windows Service for more details
2: Click the Add Multiple Folders... button on the NXPowerLite for File Servers Dashboard.
3: Add the fully qualified path of each server/SAN drive/share, one per line and then click OK.
Note: It is possible to paste a list of folder paths directly from Windows Explorer.
4: NXPowerLite will check whether the current user can access each of the top level server/SAN drive/share. Drives that are inaccessible will appear greyed out.
[Optional] 5: All folders added will be added with the default Files to optimize and Settings profiles. You may wish to apply different profiles to some or all of the added folders.
