This issue has been resolved in version NXPowerLite Desktop 10.3.0. Download the latest version.
This issue has first been reported with macOS Sequoia with NXPowerLite Desktop 10. It is due to some access permission changes that Apple introduced in this version of macOS. The current version of NXPowerLite Desktop predates this operating system and has not yet been fully tested on it.
While we work to fix this issue in a future update there is a workaround which ensures that the pop-up does not appear.
Workaround: Allow NXPowerLite Desktop full disk access
We know this is not an ideal solution but until the app is updated, it is the only way to ensure the annoying pop-up does not appear when opening NXPowerLite Desktop. If you mind granting the app full disk access privilege, you can disable it whenever you are finished using it by following the instructions below.
How to allow Full Disk Access to NXPowerLite Desktop on MacOS Sequoia
- Close NXPowerLite Desktop
- Open the Apple menu and choose System Settings.
- Select Privacy & Security from the left sidebar.
- Then choose Full Disk Access on the right pane.
- If the NXPowerLite Desktop is listed there, toggle on the button next to it to enable Full Disk Access. If you can’t see it there, click the + button at the bottom of the box, enter your password if asked, select the app from Applications, and click Open
- NXPowerLite Desktop be added to the apps that have full disk access and will not trigger the warning to appear when it is opened.
How to stop NXPowerLite Desktop from having full access
- Open the Apple menu and choose System Settings.
- Select Privacy & Security from the left sidebar.
- Then choose Full Disk Access on the right pane.
- Toggle on the button next to it to disable Full Disk Access.
